My daughter and I were part of a painfully awkard club last year. One good thing that came out of it was an event known as 'Flight Day'. Seeing my daughter build and launch a model rocket rekindled a long dormant interest and hobby. I am not a professional or expert or even a n amateur rocketeer. Just like building and painting and having fun with my kids. I don't build huge cluster rockets. I don't seal the wood of the fins and I certainly don't have time to prime and sand. I use 99 cent acrylic paint that I hand brush on; the sacrilege!
I'm just having fun with my 3 kids and sharing what I find and do.
